Connect with Great Salt Lake

Calls can be made through this digital hotline (979)GSL-HOPE or from upcycled “Great Salt Lake Hopeline” phone booths in the Greater Salt Lake area. These voicemails will be used in future productions of Great Salt Lake Hopeline by means of podcast and short film.

Through the sharing and distributing of these collected voicemails the project aims to amplify community voices, inspire hope, and spark dialogue about the conservation of our beautiful Great Salt Lake.

THE GREAT SALT LAKE HOPELINE is created by Han Calder, Nick Carpenter and Ben Doxey. As boys these three grew up on the same street in Sandy, UT. Long-time collaborators and multi-talented artists in their own right–together they're passionate storytellers who care deeply about Great Salt Lake.
